5-MeO-DMT is a psychedelic alkaloid of the tryptamine class, four to six times more powerful than its better-known relative, N,N-dimethyltryptamine. Interestingly, 5-MeO-DMT actually contains N,N-DMT, and is simply a methoxylated N,N-DMT molecule.
5-MeO-DMT is most commonly found in the milky white venom of the Sonoran Desert Toad (Bufo alvarius/Incilius alvarius), which is native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. Venom harvesting has put pressure on the population of this ecologically sensitive species, and the species is currently listed as imperiled or locally extinct in several states. 5-MeO-DMT can also be synthetically produced, and out of respect for the endangered Toad species, the 5-MeO-DMT that we offer is synthesized.
5MeoDMT has a long history of ceremonial use among indigenous Amazonians, and the substance has also shown great promise in the treatment of numerous medical conditions. In fact, a single inhalation of the substance has been shown to greatly improve general well-being and mindfulness as well as reduce the symptoms of psychological disorders.
While research into 5-MeO-DMT is limited, a few studies have supported the anecdotal evidence. In a recent preliminary study, 42 participants who took 5-MeO-DMT reported high levels of life satisfaction and mindfulness as well as lower levels of depression and anxiety. These positive effects persisted for up to four weeks (when a follow-up assessment was completed). These results support the findings of a survey of 362 people who had taken 5-MeO-DMT. After using the psychedelic, 80% of respondents reported improvements in anxiety and depression.
5-MeO-DMT has seen a drastic rise in popularity over the past few years as anecdotal reports of its potential as a healing agent have come to light, and as it has been a featured topic in productions including the Joe Rogan Experience, Mike Tyson podcast, and multiple Netflix specials.
The 5-MeO-DMT Experience
Vaporizing or smoking 5-MeO-DMT powder is the most common route of administration. The effects are usually felt within the first 30 seconds after consumption, peaking from 1-15 minutes and lasting for up to half an hour. When taken orally, effects are nonexistent, leading some chemists (most notably Alexander Shulgin) to assume that the act of smoking/vaporizing changes the molecular structure of the compound, making it psychoactive.
Mixing 5MEO DMT into a solution for use with in vaporizer cartridge is a newer form of ingestion with significant benefits over smoking freebase 5MEO DMT powder – namely the ease of consumption. Because the intensity of 5MEO DMT depends on the dose, vaping it can cause hallucinations that are as or more intense than consuming it in more traditional ways, as long as proper dosage is received within a short period of time (this sometimes takes several “pulls” or “hits” on a vaporizer).
- Low doses (2-5mg) of 5MEO DMT primarily affect physical and emotional states with few to no perceptual hallucinations. For most people this is between 2-5mg of 5-MeO-DMT
- High doses (10-15mg) of 5MEO DMT will result in fast-acting effects that come on strong, often with a loss of physical coordination and control. Users experience bright colors, moving environments, or recursive patterns, and perhaps even “environmental orbism” at higher doses. However, visual effects are limited. Unlike N,N-DMT, 5-MeO-DMT isn’t known for its visionary properties. The experience is more often described as a “perspective shift” characterized by physical, emotional, and conceptual effects. It’s also common to experience an overwhelming sense of oneness with the universe, or a sense of being outside of time and space while simultaneously experiencing the totality of both. 5-MeO-DMT Pharmacology
Like the other tryptamines, 5-MeO-DMT has the same basic structure as N,N-DMT, but has a methoxy group in the R5 position. It works primarily as a serotonin (5-HT) receptor agonist, with a particular binding affinity to the 5-HT1A receptor subtype.[7] It also binds to 5-HT2A and trace amine receptors, possibly mediating hallucinogenic effects via the latter.[8] Reuptake inhibition of neurotransmitters such as noradrenaline and dopamine are also thought to be involved in 5-MeO-DMT’s function.

The new packaging is attractive. It seems the product is more or less the same as always for anyone wondering. Note: I recommend using a Nova Pulse vape with this, if you keep the power settings around 2.0 or so, that will allow for some “microdose” style hits, to have a more subtle, but quite noticeable experience. If you use a vape set on too high a power setting you run the risk of burning the substance, which then has a bad taste, though, higher power settings (2.1–2.4) have a way of hitting with more of a rush. Many vapes go to very high power settings like 4.0 or something — that is way, way too much for this stuff.

As everyone does each experience is different. But if there is a small place with a limited amount of time to find pure peace, to feel no sadness or pain just existence and a happy existence this is it. Complete loss of time and even body, would be wise to stay away from any SSRIs or cannabis for the full effect (only if safe to do so). When you gain consciousness on the other side you feel warm and happy. You feel like the best version of yourself in those moments. Going forward find ways to keep that feeling without the plant medicine to help and you can really start to heal. This particular medicine helped my depression and anxiety beyond what was even thought possible. I don’t see plant medicine as a “trip” I treat it as a gift to help better myself.

I can’t even believe this stuff. That was the most powerful form of therapy I have ever had. It is such a strong compound. (There is no doubt of how legit this product is) I was transferred into a great white light abyss of fractals and geometry. At first I was able to meditate with the experience but soon it started overwhelming me. I held on, and stayed focus. And that’s when this feeling of being trapped and unable to control my lifes expierences came over me. This medicine transported me back into a moment when I experienced the last surgery out of 20 I had when I was a child. It brought me right back onto that hospital bed when I was scared, and confused, and unable to escape or help myself. I felt exactly the feeling I had as a child when the docotors stood towering over me with their robes and masks on, injecting me with pain killers and asking me to start counting backwards from 100 to 0 as they gassed me to sleep. I didnt even hit 90 before I was out. I remember the feeling I had from my mom in that moment was neglectful, uncompassionate, and not protecting or soothing at all in the moments before I was admitted. She was laughing when I was crying. And that whole experience between my mom laughing at my pain, and the doctors (for my own good) had complete control over my body and my being. I finally saw the great demon that is inside of me, and that moment was one of the definitive times in my life that gave birth to this great pain and confusion. The 5Meo, like a strong and guiding father brought me right infront of this moment and I had to face it all over again. Except this time I could feel strong, and in control. It was hard, I barely made it through, and I can see just how large and ugly the demon really is inside of me. That one session was nowhere near enough for me to heal that wound. But it showed me the source and what to focus on. I will have to go back in and try to breakthrough, because I could feel it was something my body has been desperate to release for more than 20 years. Although, I don’t advise anyone to go so deep (full experience) on their own. It is to dissociating to come out of that expierence without another human or spiritual connection near by. I had no choice but to use the N-n Dmt shortly after the 5Meo that night. The great mother n-n Dmt was there to sooth me and hold me after such an from the male-female counterpart of 5Meo. I do not suggest anybody take this medicine lightly. If you have past traumas *please go slow. Please give yourself the time and space to allow the medicine to show you what you so desperately need to see. Take it’s lessons and learn. Only when you are ready there after (if you are ever ready again – it is very intense) then go for a full experience. But please make sure you have a spiritually healthy and compassionate sitter with you. Do not have your friend “Joe” who just wants to watch you get f***d up sit with you..

If you’re curious about the experience that’s extremely hard to put into text. However I will say this feels like it’s helped me more then any other product bluegoba has to offer but it’s also been the most challenging. If you’re looking for something that will give you the opportunity to let go then you’ve found it. As usual, BGs quality is just incredible and this product is no different. Unlike N-N, 5-MeO is much more intense as described, however, in my opinion it is also far more healing. The afterglow is second to none and this product when used as medicine has so many healing components. Why did I order this product? I was hoping it might help me heal PTSD from psychological trauma suffered in childhood. Did it help me? Yes. So much. The first session helped me to just let go. Spiritual Experience
This was my first time with 5Meo, I’ve used the N DMT before. What a spiritual experience. Completely different. I didn’t have visuals or an entity. I became one with nature. It was, beautiful. I tried the 5meo, and it does indeed do what people say. No need for details in my case, except to say that for me it is time to move on and discontinue using it. Each time I’ve used a large dose, I’ve been told not to return. All I can say is that I’m going to heed the voice. I enjoyed my experiences with 5meo DMT, and have disposed of the product. I guess it isn’t for everyone. WOW, I had experience DMT in Ayuwasca ceremony and smoke 5meo in the natural form of the toad with some shamans and was a hard to describe experience not body , space travel so I was excited to try the synthetic version (I believe a more conscious choice to prevent harm e reduce pressure to the toad population ). SET and SETTING is the key ! And I guess my fault I screw up, after a full meal without a proper thinking with 3 friends we say let’s give a try. Approach with this with great respect. I did my 2 pulls and hold the breath for what it seams endless time and the metallic sharp noise start in my head and bum i pass out. I do not have any recall of what happens after, maybe my brain for self protection shut down. my 3 sitter instead had to deal with my body that was troughing up and move uncontrolled, they think was like a exorcism possession they lay down on me to prevent my limbs hit anything. HAVE SOME SITTER is highly recommended and an environment you can not harm yourself is also suggested. I came back to my consciousness after 5 -10 min cover in vomit but other than that pretty relax. Maybe the medicine has work on me also in this unconscious state. Now some time has pass and I am ready to retry , maybe just one puff to begin and for sure outside and with empty stomach and some mental preparation and going in with a specific quest. Hard to rate the experience but looks like the stuff is good, for the first 5 seconds had the exact same felling of the natural one. I am not able to smoke i start coughing and irritate my trough , but this pen is really good and no coughing reaction.
