Golden Teacher is one of the oldest, and one of the most well-known magic mushroom strains, and in fact is so well known that the name “Golden Teacher” has become almost ubiquitous with “Magic Mushrooms”. Golden Teacher was first taxonomically classified in the late 1980’s. For more than 30 years this magic mushroom variety has been revered by experienced Psychonauts & beginners alike, for its ability to consistently elicit meaningful, insightful, and often transformative experiences, along with the visual stimulation and intense feelings of euphoria/connectedness that are expected from consuming Psilocybin mushrooms.
Our Golden Teacher has been tested with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and found to have an average tryptamine content of 1.648%. By comparison, the average Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom contains between 0.6-0.8% tryptamine content (psilocybin, psilocin, baeocystin). We have also tested this variety using the PSILO-Q Test kit, the first ever home-use quantitative psilocybin testing kit. Results show that this variety contains approximately 1.7% tryptamine content. By comparison, the average Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom contains between 0.6 and 0.8% tryptamine content.
Dosages are as follows:
Mild Experience: 0.75 Grams to 1.25 Grams
Medium Experience 1.5 Grams to 2.5 Grams
Full Experience 2.5 Grams to 3.5 Grams
We recommend that you do not mix our products with alcohol, as it dulls the experience.
We also recommend starting at the medium experience level if you have not tried magic mushrooms before, as the visuals can be quite intense and harder to handle for inexperienced users. Golden Teachers. Your GT’s seem to be very different from others I’ve bought in the past, by a long shot. I consumed 2G and had the strongest trip of my life. I ate them and within 10 min I could feel it coming on strong (that’s never happened, even when drinking it in a tea). I was somewhat incapacitated with panic this time for a good 3 hrs and the body load lasted a good 7 to 8 hrs. The OEV were very strong (actually stronger than when my eyes were closed). I had a lot of trouble focusing and was a bit overwhelmed. This was a difficult trip for sure, but I would not say a ‘bad trip’. There is always something to be learn. I should mentioned there was a moment where I seemed to transfer my consciousness in to 3 separate individuals. Strange indeed!
